At Refrigeration Engineering, our commitment to creating and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment is enshrined in everything we do.

RE Environmental VRU's incorporate the highest level of safety considerations, from their design to operational features.

Refrigerated VRUs, by nature of the process, have the highest level of safety of any vapour recovery technology. As we are dealing with flammable vapours, safety is paramount in any vapour recovery system.

All of our electrical components are fully certified for hazardous area applications. As all recovery is at atmospheric pressure and pressure drop through the VRU extremely low (less than 1000 Pa or 100 mm water) there is no need for compression of flammable vapours. This means there are no mechanical or electrical components, and no possible ignition sources, anywhere in the flammable vapour path.
